I write to make sense of the world in which I live and work, which has taken Seongeun and me to many different places, all big and small, both near and far. When I was young, I traveled a lot but usually only for short periods of time. I was the ultimate homeboy really-- Why forsake things like Toto flush toilets and Wendy's burgers and fries? But the world has changed. Wendy's now tastes like dog. Conveniences can now be gotten abroad, inconvenient problems pervade and privileged persons like myself seek a way to balance individual aspiration and recreation with public welfare and need. Put another way, I am now an adult. I have chosen a path that is interesting to me and damn it if I won't take up a little space to try to share the point.
